Overview

Adam graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2024. During his time in law school, he served as a staff member and Articles Editor for the Montana Law Review. He completed his Clinical Program with the Honorable Shane Vannatta of Montana’s Fourth Judicial District and worked as a judicial intern for both the Honorable Kathleen DeSoto and Chief Judge for the District of Montana, the Honorable Brian Morris. He also obtained practical legal experience as an intern at Dietrich & Associates, P.C., Bjornson Jones Mungas, PLLC, and Datsopoulos, MacDonald & Lind, P.C., while in school. He is currently pursuing a Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation at the University of Florida.

Adam was raised in Santa Cruz, California. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 2013. He spent almost a decade in the service industry working as a cook, and eventually a chef, all around the country before attending law school. Several of those summers were spent working at some of Montana’s finer guest ranches, which is what initially brought him to Montana in 2016.

At Garlington Lohn & Robinson, Adam assists with legal matters spanning many areas of practice and is especially interested in transactional work and estate planning. He expects to receive his LLM in 2026 and hopes to incorporate this education into his practice.

In his free time, Adam enjoys hiking, cooking, fly fishing, and playing music.
