Mike graduated from the University of Montana, School of Law in 2012. For more than a decade, Mike’s practice has included both litigation and transactional work. Mike has experience advising clients prospectively on issues such as estate planning, probate and trust administration, business formation, land use, and contract drafting and review. Mike also has diverse experience in litigating insurance defense, probate and trust matters, real estate matters, and other civil matters. Additionally, he has experience with full jury and bench trials to verdict, and with appellate briefing. Mike is admitted to practice in Montana and Idaho State Courts, the United States District Court for the Districts of Montana and Idaho, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
After graduating from college with a double major in Political Science and History, Mike spent time in China traveling, learning Mandarin, and teaching English. In his personal time, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, an elementary school teacher, and his two children. Mike also enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, and traveling.
