Saige B. Watrin

Overview

Saige earned both her Juris Doctor and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Utah. During law school, she gained hands-on legal experience as a law clerk at the Utah Attorney General’s Office for the Department of Environmental Quality. Saige was also a Quinney Research Fellow and interned at the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of the Solicitor.

During her time in undergrad, Saige worked as a research assistant in a neurobiology lab and published an Honors College thesis on bighorn sheep management. Before pursuing law, Saige worked as a student research associate at a think tank, a seasonal worker in Alaska’s tourism industry, and a reclamation technician in Wyoming’s oil and gas fields. These experiences helped shape her decision to attend law school and her ongoing interest in environmental and natural resource law.

At Garlington, Lohn & Robinson, Saige assists with a variety of litigation, advisory, and transactional matters.

Outside of work, Saige spends her time cooking, hiking, and skiing. She and her husband enjoy exploring Montana’s natural beauty and all the outdoor opportunities it has to offer.
