Savannah was born on a military base in Germany and spent most of her childhood in Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and Writing from The University of Texas. After graduation, she spent time as a backpacking guide in Colorado before relocating to the East Coast to start her professional career at a regional staffing agency.
Savannah then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she actively engaged in public interest work, serving as Executive Director of the Public Interest Law Organization and participating in the Innocence and Justice Clinic. Savannah’s internships with the Forsyth County Public Defender’s Office and the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division helped shaped her commitment to advocating fiercely for her clients.
Savannah grew up visiting her family in Great Falls and Missoula, and she is excited to now call Montana home. Outside of her professional life, Savannah enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their chocolate lab, Stella.
